RoomistIn short
Roomist scans your room with LiDAR, draws its plan and, if you ask, redesigns a room, garden or building photo with AI. Scans and projects stay on your phone. The server keeps a credit balance and a few security records, described below. No ads, no tracking, no sale of data.
Data that stays on your device
LiDAR scans, floor plans, 3D models, furniture layouts and project history are stored only on your device. We cannot access them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Data the server keeps
- Photo for an AI render: sent to our server and to our AI provider (fal.ai) only when you request a render. The source image is deleted as soon as processing ends; the generated image is kept for at most 24 hours for delivery, then deleted.
- Credit record: your credit balance, credits spent, the free scan and free credit you have used, and the App Store transaction ids of the credit packs and subscription you bought (so a purchase is credited once). It is keyed by a random device identifier the app generates, or, if you subscribe, by your subscription's App Store transaction id, so your credits follow you to a new phone.
- Render counters: how many renders a device made, and a daily total, to keep the service within fair-use limits.
- App Attest key: the public key Apple's App Attest service creates for this app on your device, with a counter. It proves requests come from the genuine app and cannot be used to identify you.
- Service logs: Google Cloud keeps request logs (time, path, the random device identifier, render steps) to operate and debug the service.
- Subscription analytics: subscription and purchase events (product, renewals, cancellations) are sent to RevenueCat, our subscription analytics provider, together with the app's random device id.
None of this is linked to your name, email, Apple ID or phone number. We never see payment details.
Camera and photos
Camera access is used for LiDAR scanning and for taking room, garden or building photos. Photo library access is used only to redesign a photo you pick and to save renders you create.
Payments
Roomist Pro and credit packs are sold through the Apple App Store. Your payment details stay with Apple.
Third parties
AI images are generated on fal.ai; our server runs on Google Cloud Run and the records above are kept in Google Firestore. App Attest is Apple's service. Subscription and purchase events are sent to RevenueCat together with the app's random device id; this is not linked to your name, email or Apple ID. These providers process data only to deliver the service.
Children
Roomist is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. To have your credit record and counters deleted from the server, write to berkaybosnak55@gmail.com and include the user ID shown on the app's Profile screen.
